Renewable Energy
LCON has recently set up Oxford North Community Renewables (ONCORE) to install solar panels on large roofs in North Oxford. The first project is to fund the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on the roofs of The Cherwell School.
ONCORE is aiming to raise a minimum of £150,000 through community investment, to fund an installation of around 250 panels (50kWp) that will produce cheap, clean electricity for Cherwell School for at least 25 years.

This offer launches on Monday June 6th and will remain open until 31 July 2011. ONCORE hopes to raise the full amount as soon as possible, to complete the installation over the summer holidays.
