LCON is a small community organisation run by volunteers. It is applying for charitable status and needs help and support from people living in the area in many areas: organising activities, helping at events, in communications and in fundraising. The main areas are set out below:

Organising activities: We are looking for people who are interested in leading activities to help people reduce their footprints, eg low carbon living programme, supplier information, or developing new ideas. Got a good low carbon idea?

Fundraising: we need help in approaching grant making bodies as well as individuals in the community.

Running events: We have run a number of public meetings and have periodic needs to meet the community. If you like talking to people, or would like to work behind the scenes then this could be for you

Communications: we need help managing our website and organising regular newsletters. Comfort using IT needed for this one!
